The photos of the hotel showed it to be a little quirky and "different". In reality it was very shabby. Bed was so uncomfortable, like sleeping on the floorboards. It is my own fault for failing to properly research this place before booking and being too attracted by the price. I booked three nights and my daughter and I left after just one. The hotel is really old, worn out and crappy - carpet wearing out, mould in theIt is my own fault for failing to properly research this place before booking and being too attracted by the price. I booked three nights and my daughter and I left after just one. The hotel is really old, worn out and crappy - carpet wearing out, mould in the bathroom, wi-fi barely functioned and no furniture in the bedroom beyond a bed and desk. Our room looked onto an internal light well, which was awful. Worst of all - and this is not the hotel’s fault - but the area is really dodgy. We took a half hour walk around the place and just hated it - beggars, a guy pissing against a wall, excrement on the pavement (hard to know if it was human or animal). I was happy to waste the best part of Euro300 just to escape. The staff were very nice and breakfast was fine: the only good features.

Quick trip to Athens where the main purpose was to visit the Parthenon but you need somewhere to sleep, as we did not plan to spend much time in the hotel and did not want to spend silly money we found a cheap deal so did not expect 5 starQuick trip to Athens where the main purpose was to visit the Parthenon but you need somewhere to sleep, as we did not plan to spend much time in the hotel and did not want to spend silly money we found a cheap deal so did not expect 5 star hotel. What we did get was somewhere clean and comfortable, yep it was not in the centre but it was close enough and the metro tickets were cheap (check out the 5 day pass) yes there were quite a few homeless about but I live in Central London so I am used to that only difference is I could not offer those I passed in Athens foodbank vouchers like I can in London, we had no problem with them begging and none of them were aggressive they just had nowhere to live but if you don't want to see this go stay in a 5 star somewhere that the homeless are moved on. The Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice but unless you got there early or when it was replenished the hot choices were not always hot, but there was always plenty to set you up for the day. The only downside was the school groups that use this place as it is so cheap but we only had to ask once and the group leader made sure the noise level was reduced...I've taken youths on trips and understand they get excited but like the leader we encountered also made sure they knew not to disturb other people but you may have to ask them to ssshhhhh

This is one of the best hotels we've ever been. Very good service, tasty breakfasts, beauityful old building. We had room with two balcones, with nice view. We had about 200m to Omonia whetre metro station is so it;s very close.This is one of the best hotels we've ever been. Very good service, tasty breakfasts, beauityful old building. For sure it was a nice and fancy art hotel, but 40 years ago.
Need a general properly refurbishment.

Perfect hotel on the beach

This is a fabulous hotel. We Visited for one week beginning of July. Rooms were a nice size with a mini fridge overlooking the courtyard. We Enjoyed the variety at breakfast, my daughter loved the pancakes. The location of this hotel is perfect right in the beach although it wasThis is a fabulous hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect right in the beach although it was very pebbly you will definitely need beach shoes. The staff at this hotel are very friendly. We enjoyed chatting to the restaurant/bar manager (sorry didn’t catch his name ).
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamari beach and would definitely recommend to others. I would love to return at some point

Great location. Rooms need to be renovated. The communal area is very nice with a huge and clean swimming pool and a good maintained garden. Sun beds are luxurious and very comfortable. The pool bar and the restaurant serve exotic coctails and delicious food at reasonable prices.The breakfast buffet wasGreat location. Rooms need to be renovated. Perfect hotel in Kamari

Recently visited the Kamari Beach hotel.
Firstly Santorini is lovely, the resort of Kamari is perfect in my opinion, its away the the busy towns of Fira and Oia which on cruise days is packed with tourists, the streets are very overcrowded, this resort has plenty of nice bars and restaurantsRecently visited the Kamari Beach hotel.
Firstly Santorini is lovely, the resort of Kamari is perfect in my opinion, its away the the busy towns of Fira and Oia which on cruise days is packed with tourists, the streets are very overcrowded, this resort has plenty of nice bars and restaurants suiting all tastes, from quiet restaurants to more vibes atmospheres with a dj etc. The bus to Fira is an 8 min walk from the hotel and runs every 20 mins in both directions till around 11pm.
The hotel has the largest pool on the Kamari beach with access to the beach, sun loungers included, no issues getting a sunlounger either, with restrictions in place not to leave towels etc.
Breakfast had something for everyone, from hot options to cereals, fruit, sweet, pancakes etc served 7-10am.
Rooms are adequate with excellent air con.
Vassos on reception was very helpful and available to answer any questions.
The hotel organised transfers to and from the airport for €25 per couple, payable to the driver.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would be our first choice when returning to Santorini.

Thank you to the staff of this lovely hotel. We had a great holiday. The room ticked all the boxes. It was spacious, spotless clean, modern, comfortable beds, air con, safe, fridge and toiletries. Staff in all areas of breakfast, bars, restaurants, pool and especially reception were super friendly and helpful. The pool area is fantastic with lots of sunbeds and the beach is even better. All available too residents. Beach service was good and like others before me, would recommend beach shoes. Location of hotel is spot on. It is also close to the Erotokritos Bakery (well worth a couple of trips). Our flight was late at night so reception kept our luggage safe, allowed us to use all facilities and then gave us a room to shower and change before our pick up. Free of charge. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Beautiful Hotel. Great service with more than helpful staff. The food was really good with great choice and I wasn't expecting waiter service round the pool all day. Great stay.
