This themed hotel is only a couple of minutes from Disneyland Resort Paris. An idyllic lake, where guests are able to enjoy a stroll and relax, is just a few minutes away. Here, guests are able to experience the charm of the French region. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as public transport are to be found within 3 km. The tourist centre, Disneyland Resort as well as a bus station, a train station and an underground station are also around 3 km away. Shops and the Sea Life centre lie some 4 km from the hotel. This hotel ruined our holiday

Booked via a third party, payment went out on the 10th September as a pending payment but showed as gone from my account.
Website stated pay at property on the day of arrival. We were staying Saturday-Sunday on 2 weekends as part of our holiday.

When we arrived I was told I had to pay again for the room because the pending payment which hadn't yet been returned to my bank was just a guarantee payment, which would have been fine if I had been told. Anyway I used the following weekends money to pay and I was assured the pending money would be returned instantly and that this was a one time incident due to an event which was selling out rooms and needed to guarantee our stay. I was promised this wouldn't happen for the following weekend.
On the Thursday, 2 days before our next stay, I received a text message informing me our room had been cancelled as I didn't have the funds for the guarantee for the weekend coming.
I tried to speak to a member of staff who was less than helpful, and at this point, all rooms had sold.
We were left without anywhere to stay.
This then cost us €550 to stay at our Disney hotel an extra night as it was the only place with availability.
We had to cancel all of our special meals we had planned due to this and quite frankly ruined our once in a lifetime holiday.
It was so upsetting and caused a lot of stress. I didn't need this on my husbands 40th birthday and trying to deal with 3 SEN children.
Hotel looked lovely from the outside, the rooms however weren't that nice, not overly clean, no kettle in the rooms either and the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard which didn't help my back disabilities at all.
The only good thing is the food at the restaurant and the staff in there were lovely.

Without doubt the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The hotel is basic considering what you pay for. But the big issue is the shuttles. If you are planning to stay here to make use of the shuttles, don't. They are absolutely terrible. Infrequent and when they do arriveWithout doubt the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Infrequent and when they do arrive barely anyone can get on as they have already been to multiple hotels already. We have ended up walking to Disneyland with a pram every single morning and evening. We have complained but the hotel accept no responsibility and blame the shuttle service.

More than good enough for a couples stay...

We have recently returned from our 2 night stay at Hotel Campanile Val de France. We checked in late on our first evening and was greeted by friendly staff on Reception. We were also surprised to come back after our first day at Disney to a clean room and fresh towels provided.
The Reception area is jam packed full of different arcade games, a Starbucks, bar snack area and a boutique shop.
Breakfast is average and not much choice but we thought it was decent enough for the price we paid. There is a selection of cooked food (bacon, eggs beans etc), pastries, crepes, pancakes, yogurts and more. Breakfast starts from 7:00am.
The free shuttle service starts at the Campanile and from memory stops at around 6 hotels on the way before reaching Diseny. Both mornings we took the first free shuttle service (the website says 10 minutes but it takes just over 20) to Disney, they start from around 8:05am - absolutely fine. However the shuttle coming back on our first evening was absolute chaos. People were pushing and shoving to get onto the bus when they run every 15 minutes. We felt really sorry for the families with prams and young children as it was just absolutely manic. Just for reference, we were quoted €20 for a taxi from Disney back to Campanile or we could have picked up an Uber for around €12 if you want to save the stress and hassle. As we were just travelling as a couple, we didn't mind letting a couple of shuttles go by in order to let all the families jump on first.
Overall we had no issues with staff, or our room. All we needed the room for was a bed and a shower and this hotel suited us absolutely fine so I would 100% recommend this hotel if you need a cheap place to stay as a couple.

If you can afford to stay somewhere else, I advise you to do so.
Firstly, the place looks like a prison camp, not a hotel.

The room we were in was awful. We were on the ground floor. We walked in and it smelled stale. There was no window to open, only a door, which I’m guessing didn’t help with the smell because the room couldn’t be aired out properly.
The next thing is the room needs renovation. It was dirty, despite the cleaner being in daily.
There were stains on the ceiling which looked like either poo or chocolate. For the sake of my sanity, I’m going with chocolate.
There was a net curtain which had bloody finger prints on. It was also ripped with holes in it.
The lino floor was covered in bits, and looked like it needed a really good clean.
The beds were quite hard, but I’ve slept on worse. I didn’t look at the mattress for fear of what kind of stains I’d find.
The pillows are like pancakes. Luckily, there was a bunk bed in the room, so we could take the pillows from there.
Then we come to the bathroom. There was blood on the mirror surround and hand stains on the mirror. The bathroom floor was visibly dirty and needed a good steam clean. The bottom of the door was rotting away. There were hairs everywhere. In the sink, by the mirror, in the toilet and around the bath and shower. The extractor fan was visibly broken and did not work. The shower was a joke. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold.
There are no amenities in the room, so don’t expect a kettle/ tea bags, etc.
The aircon, apart from looking dirty, actually worked for the first two nights! The third night, despite it being on exactly the same setting, it started to pump out hot air. Because we’re on the ground floor, there is no window to open, which is why I’m awake at 2 in the morning writing this, because it is boiling in the room.
It looked more like a dorm room. We were given a room with two single beds and a bunk bed, despite being a married couple with no children. There is one small bedside table for you to share. The plugs are on the other side of the bed, so you have to put anything you are charging on the dirty floor.
We didn’t venture into the restaurant. I use that term loosely because it looked like a school canteen.
The animals in the petting zoo were lovely. Some of the goats and the donkey came to say hello. However, they seemed attention starved. I also worried that, how the rooms and hotel were being looked after, whether they were being looked after. The poor rabbits were in a tiny cage.
Reception looked and sounded like an arcade threw up on it. The man who checked us in was rude and seemed like us checking in was an inconvenience.
We didn’t use the shuttle bus to avoid the big cues and overcrowding. An Uber to Disney cost about 12-15 euros.
We really enjoyed Disney, but a three night stay in this hotel was more than enough.
We made the mistake of going through Thomas Cook. My advice to anyone who has gotten this far reading this is to book everything yourself independently. It will work out cheaper.
Thomas Cook should be ashamed of themselves for selling this ‘hotel’.
I wouldn’t recommend this ‘hotel’ to my worst enemy. Do not stay here unless you enjoy a Pontins holiday back home.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. We booked 3 rooms via Booking.com and was told we would pay at the property. The day before we were due to arrive the hotel took almost €400 from my account as a deposit with no warning. WhenBy far the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. We booked 3 rooms via Booking.com and was told we would pay at the property. The day before we were due to arrive the hotel took almost €400 from my account as a deposit with no warning. When I arrived for check-in the hotel claimed they had not taken any money and were requesting I paid the full amount before I could check in. Despite me showing them the transaction on my bank and the email confirmation I had from Booking.com, I had two members of staff shouting at me and trying to get me to pay the full balance despite me advising and showing them I did not have the funds available. The staff could not have been any less helpful and kept arguing they had not taken anything from my bank, and then proceeded to tell me I would get the funds back in 2 days time. We finally managed to check in and go to our rooms but the next days our room keys were deactivated. It took over half an hour for this issue to be resolved and the same person who was shouting at me the night before and telling me I was wrong, admitted he though the way the hotel dealt with this was ‘weird’ as well
