Another poor room.

We went to the San Antonio again as we were taking the family and knew they had a dedicated kids pool with a pirate ship which the grandkids enjoyed.
As usual the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and the hotel is kept spotless.

Nice to see the Taza Bar open at night as it was closed on our last visit.
Again this trip the room let the hotel down.
At check in I noticed that we were on floor 9 again, I queried whether we were under the restaurant and was assured we weren't, wrong, on checking the room we found we were under the far end of the restuarant we thought it might be quieter admittedly not as many scraping seats but still noise above our head.
We noticed there wasn't a voile fitted to the window just the blackout curtain, I went to reception to ask for one to be fitted but nothing was done.
A few days into the holiday we noticed a smell when we were sitting on the balcony, I thought it may have been to do with cooking above us, smelled like cooking cabbage but the smell got worse and by the end of the holiday it was in the corridor as well, luckily it wasn't in the room.
Another 3 star visit, as again the room let the hotel down.

We had a week stay as a party of 6 for our friends 60th birthday and enjoyed ourselves from that point of view. We got a bit fed up with the buffet and the restaurants as there didn’t seem to be enough staff clearing the tables or resetting them, soWe had a week stay as a party of 6 for our friends 60th birthday and enjoyed ourselves from that point of view. We got a bit fed up with the buffet and the restaurants as there didn’t seem to be enough staff clearing the tables or resetting them, so we ate out quite a bit, in hindsight we shouldn’t have gone all inclusive as there are plenty of nice restaurants and pubs nearby. Our room was a bit of a disappointment as we were stuck in the corner so our balcony was enclosed, making our room dark most of the time. If our holiday was a fortnight we would have approached reception to ask for a room change but couldn’t be bothered for a week. Our room boy Lila was brilliant and kept our room clean and made up the beds every day, we didn’t really get to know any other staff as there isn’t a lot of interaction.

This is our third visit to DB San Antonio and we have always found the service, food, and accommodation to be excellent. Reception staff through to housekeeping and everyone else in between are always friendly and accommodating, making our holidays perfect!

We would especially like to thank Shaira this year, for arranging a birthday gift for our dtr also banners and fruit in the room. Sharia went over and above to help with this by email and phone. We met her this week and thanked her in person, she always has a smile and is more than happy to help. Thank you again Shaira.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes. The staff is incredibly polite and efficient, always making sure you have everything you need. I have to give a special shoutout to the animation crew, especiallyI had an amazing stay at this hotel! The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes. The staff is incredibly polite and efficient, always making sure you have everything you need. I have to give a special shoutout to the animation crew, especially Talita and Lucas. They are fantastic! They made my week so much better and filled with laughter. The hotel itself is very clean and well-organized, and the bar staff is just as great. I loved everything about my stay here – this hotel is a solid 10/10! Highly recommend it!

Animation crew is the best: team Brazil (Talita, Lucas, Lucas) and team Mexico (Mon, Papi), Edgar, Fifi and Larry, awesome job! And the cleaning is well done as well. I also loved the pool crew, thank you all!
