We had a lovely stay for 7 nights to which we found the staff across the whole hotel to be excellent. Our beach front room on the second floor was spacious with a good size balcony with fantastic views out to the sea. The room was also well equipped with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay minus an iron which we requested and was swiftly delivered.
Having downloaded the Mitis app and prebooked the two restaurants before we arrived it helped plan our days which is advisable to ensure you can enjoy the good food and service that both have to offer. The buffet, crepery and beach bar also provided lovely food and good service with something for everyone. We spent many days on the beach which always had plenty of comfortable loungers or beds available and the service from the guys at the bar/cafe was great.
The massage service at the beach was excellent and a 1 hour full body for 40 euro is great value and meant I ended up making two visits. As many suggest you do need sea shoes to comfortably enter the water but it was refreshing not to get sand everywhere and actually rekindled our love for the beach.
The hotel location is a 40 minute walk into Kos town which we did a couple of times to burn off some of the gyros. The hotel can provide a Taxi for 12 euro and if we got a bar to call us one for the way back they charged 15 euro. On the nights we stayed in the hotel entertainment was good, but repeatative, and it doesnt make sense to provide a 30 minute show aimed at small children at 8:30pm when on most occasions no children were even present..I've still got Baby Shark going around in my head now..
I had read many of the reviews prior to our stay and I would say that most, if not all, of peoples gripes appear have to be actioned which is great and shows the management listen. I would happily stay here again and will certainly stay with the Mitis group elsewhere if this is the standard.

A fantastic holiday

This hotel was fantastic, the rooms were a good size and exceptionally clean with a good size balcony. There is a free safe in the room. The air conditioning worked very well which was welcomed as there was a heat wave while we stayed.

The food was lovely, with a great variety, make sure to book the a la carte restaurants, the food and service is fantastic.
There are three pools one being a salt water pool that we used most days. The only negative is trying to get a sun bed as guests put towels out in the morning and then don’t use the beds until the afternoon and the hotel do not control this so it can be difficult to get a bed by the pool.
The hotel has its own beach with a bar that serves food and drinks.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had a fantastic holiday, thank you.

It is easy as a client to take for granted the hard work and effort that goes into keeping a large hotel on track every day. Looking after 1000 or so guests, each with individual expectations and demands ( some reasonable and some not achievable) is a Herculean task.
Each member of the team here are Ramira Beach we met has welcomed my family and myself with a smile.
Small things such as a fridge not working, the room pool not draining , have been fixed within an hour or so. Advice about where to visit- what excursions to take. ( Alex and Milton at reception )
The food service and choice is excellent, especially in the a la carte, where I have to commend Nikos as Maitre D, with Amro, Elderin and Vaia. The main restaurant is managed superbly by the team who seamlessly manage the huge flow of guests, and I must commend Eva, Joanna, Ioannis, Katerina, and Valia among others for never seeming under stress ( despite the busiest times now at the height of the season) and are always happy to chat.
The bars in particular the lobby and aqua pool bars are well run with again excellent service by the whole team- to highlight again Joanna, Christina, Edi and on the beach Antonis and Malachi.
It cannot be at all easy to manage so many differing guests- I have seen evidence of really poor behaviour from fellow guests with a complete lack of respect towards staff members, yet each time it is handled well and met with warmth.
so fortunate to spend time with the fitness team and have had 1:1 sessions in yoga, pilates and Tai Chi from Ehab, Martina and Rania. Each of these professionals have been so motivating it has been a joy to be trained- if at times challenging!
I would ask that better curtains for the outdoor training area for the well being training is considered to help shade from the sun.
My final thanks must be to the housekeeping and gardening team for their efforts every day- going unnoticed because they do their jobs so well.

We stayed with our 10month old baby and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing - attentive, genuine and the service was impeccable. Our baby had a great time and would smile and wave at the friendly staff. Our baby just learnt to walk so the restaurant staff even let her walk around the cornered off kiddy area. We couldn’t note everyone’s names who made our experience so special, those who stood out were the Maitre De’s, the restaurant managers, lady bar manager, the ladies behind the indoor bar (Maria, Alex), waiters at Pool bar, Ergest at the kids pool bar, Ergar the waiter and the kids club staff. The hotel was always clean and tidy, well maintained throughout the day. The bar service was excellent which meant drinks were readily available at locations across the resort (coffee and cocktails were delicious). The food was good and felt homely made with local ingredients. It was our first Mitsis experience and we will definitely consider returning to one again. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday a memorable one.
