10/10 stay - fantastic resort, lovely staff & incredible vegan food

I recently returned from a holiday at Ikos Oceania & cannot recommend highly enough. The hotel/resort itself is beautiful & we found the staff to be incredibly welcoming & friendly during every single interaction, going above & beyond to offer us a personalised & unique service. Our rooms were light,I recently returned from a holiday at Ikos Oceania & cannot recommend highly enough. The hotel/resort itself is beautiful & we found the staff to be incredibly welcoming & friendly during every single interaction, going above & beyond to offer us a personalised & unique service. Our rooms were light, bright & clean, kept well-attended & well-stocked by the housekeeping team. We were lucky to get upgraded partway through our stay from x2 separate rooms to one single Deluxe Collection suite, with x2 ensuite bedrooms, adjoining lounge/living room & huge wrap-around balcony, which was a fantastic surprise. The resort is a great size (not too spread out but doesn't feel claustrophobic) & has several pool areas, a well-equipped gym & even an on-site spa. There are a large range of activities for guests to participate in, including morning yoga/pilates sessions overlooking the sea, aqua fit in the pool, table tennis & various watersports (paddleboarding, canoeing, pedalos). We were impressed with the main Flavors Buffet, which served a large range of food - fresh, colourful, flavoursome & a daily-changing menu (unusual for an all-inclusive resort). Importantly for us, there were also plenty of well-labeled veggie, vegan & gluten-free options. There are also several fantastic on-site restaurants for guests to visit (reservations recommended for dinner): Beach Club (lunch only), Fresco (Italian - dinner only), Ouzo (Greek - breakfast, lunch & dinner), Provence (French - breakfast, lunch & dinner) & Anaya (Asian - dinner only). We visited all of the restaurants, each of which catered incredibly well to our vegan diets. The food was genuinely some of the best we have ever eaten - everything was beautifully presented, with fantastic flavours & textures, & we enjoyed every single meal.
One of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at & highly recommended. Already counting down the days until we can return...!

We are here at the moment. I will start with the positive. Food, Incredible. Service, outstandi. Location, heavenly. Views, breathtaking. Rooms, clean. Good size balcony. Room service, very fast and friendly. Tesla for the day, thumbs up. Chromecast in tv, nice touch. Products in bathroom, good quality.We are here at the moment. I will start with the positive. Negatives. Food in buffet, mainly cold ( but tasty). Bath with shower over very dated and had a big chip inside ( room 3314). Room, we paid (via tui so their fault) for a room with sea view, NOT overlooking a concrete roof. Our view, overlooking said concrete roofs. We were told at reception they had upgraded us to a family room. Not the case it was a twin room with adjoining door. Wasn't happy but it didn't ruin our stay. Biggest gripe for us was the cleanness of lifts in our block. Really shabby with marks on the walks which were there fro. Our first day and still there when we left (2 weeks later). Same with marks on steps leading from the beach to hotel. Never mopped once in our whole stay. Glass around pools constantly grimy same marks all of our stay. Chipped tiles on out stair well. My husband caught his shin on one, not too much damage and he was a little tiddly at the time. Windows from outside looking in to hotel, from pool area. Filthy, quite a bit of bird pooh splattered in certain areas. I know this is inevitable but I'd expect them to be cleaned every day, if needed. Especially at the price guests pay. Entertainment is poor. Its not so much the entertainment itself. Its the way the room is laid out. It's just loads pf tables and chairs in rows. Feels like there is going to be a show where you would sit and watch. When it's actually some really good bands. I would have thought a space in the middle would encourage more guests to get up and dance and maybe some staff, nicely dressed in suits, also for some encouragement. In my experience alot of people need a (little) push to join in. The spa is very pricey. I usually have a massage but I gave that a miss here.
We are really enjoying our stay. Most parts have blown my mind. But for the price, I don't have the Ikos bug.

The best IKOS visit to date - outstanding at every level

As self-confessed Ikos addicts, we've become familiar with the quality a trip to one of these fantastic resorts offers. This time was no exception. We've been to Oceania a couple of times before, but this trip set the bar another level higher! Service provided by the entireAs self-confessed Ikos addicts, we've become familiar with the quality a trip to one of these fantastic resorts offers. This time was no exception. We've been to Oceania a couple of times before, but this trip set the bar another level higher! Service provided by the entire team, be it in the restaurants, the bars, the pools, the beach and the Whatsapp Service Excellence team, was exceptional. The maintenance of the entire resort was superb - credit to the maintenance and housekeeping teams. The restaurants in particular this year were faultless - food came out quickly, was piping hot and tasted amazing.
We were incredibly lucky with the weather - being a European destination there's always a risk there's a few spots of rain, or the temperature takes a dip for a while, but we had back-to-back sunshine the whole time, and the most incredible sunsets too.
We had all sorts of little treats during the course of our stay, from a couple of local brewery IPA beers (a particular favourite of mine) delivered to our room shortly after we arrived, to the incredible feast arranged at the Beach Club one evening, we were felt incredibly well looked after. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces across the resort, and get to meet some of the new 2024 season staff too - Ikos Oceania really does seem to have cracked getting the team up to speed incredibly effectively.
As I've said, service levels were perfect this time around, but a special mention to a few members of the team that really did go above and beyond... Anna (Ouzo/Anaya) who was so attentive and engaging every time we saw her; Stefania (Ouzo) who was so much fun on the evening we dined there; Angela, Aggeliki and Fiona, our 'dream team' at Beach Club who made us feel like we the only people in the restaurant that night (we weren't!) and asked Chef Nikos to make the most incredible banquet for us - I'm not sure I've ever been so well fed; Demi, Antonia and Eva for making sure we kept our fluids up during the days we spent by the pools; Tia in the Lobby/Terrace Bar who was always there for our evening drinks; Despina, the superstar that has been a constant in our Halkidiki trips since 2020, who is incredibly passionate about her guests and team (plus made THE BEST cocktails on the resort IMO this year); and finally the extra special thanks to Vangelis for 'always being there' and going above and beyond every single day. If you get to meet any of these wonderful humans, you're in for a treat. We can't wait to return next year :)

Ikos Oceania is amazing! The staff are so lovely and friendly, they really want you to enjoy your stay. The food and drink is brilliant.

Anaya was our favourite restaurant and was lucky enough to have another visit there on our last night. Provence restaurants food and staff were great too. Eva at the adults pool was great, always friendly and attentive.
Sea is beautiful and clear, really calm. We used the free bikes, paddle board and kayak which is such a bonus. Having the Tesla for the day was great and got to explore.
Can’t wait to return 😃
