Just returned from an 11 day visit to this hotel and all I can say is that it is amazing.
No faults at all.
Amazing food which is varied and always hot and topped up.
Lovely rooms which are spotless.
Happy and friendly staff.

Always managed to get sun beds whatever time of the morning we got to the family pool.
Leaving the best to last is the amazing animation team of Ibo and Dido. They were so friendly and funny and got everyone doing something. Without these two the holiday would not have been the same.
My kids loved playing darts which was on twice a day and enjoyed the winning cocktails too!!
Well done to you all.
We hope to be back some time.

With a bit of delay our feedback of 12 days stay at this lovely hotel in mid- August.
I must admit , I was very concerned after reading some negative reviews.
However our holiday went perfectly fine with only small hiccup at the beginning, room we were givenWith a bit of delay our feedback of 12 days stay at this lovely hotel in mid- August.
I must admit , I was very concerned after reading some negative reviews.
However our holiday went perfectly fine with only small hiccup at the beginning, room we were given should be not considered for guests , but it got changed.
After we changed the Room - good size , with two singles and bunk beds and good working air-con we had a comfortable stay. Good shower water pressure, toiletry with one type for hair and body , we brought our own , so was not the issue for us. Daily cleaning provided , really friendly and nice personnel.
Main Restaurant- for breakfast pancakes, Greek yogurt, omlets , bacon, beans , scrambled eggs, cheeses , dried fruits, good coffee. Lunch /dinner - various fresh salads , good quality and reality tasty daily roast ( chicken , turkey , duck, pork) , every other day beef/veal ragu, really good bolognaise, my fussy kids really enjoyed tasty and healthy food. Fresh fruits and delicious desserts. Restaurant personal we found in particular very attentive, hard working , smiling, friendly, my great respect to all of them and massive thank you. Senior management often visible at busy service and very involved, that is the sign they really care and want us feel truly happy.
As many comment on fish - there is fish available in the different sauces daily but not whole or just grilled. Possibly fish prices in the area do not allow it to serve on the mass basis with great variety.
Pizza was really nice at the place near the pool and kids were really happy with ice cream counter during the day.
Reception- we found Andrea very professional, attentive and doing her best to assist and really helpful with any issues .
Beaches - are public, on the left and right of the hotel - 3 min walk , soft sand , calm water. Non motorised water equipment and sun longes can be hired at the one to the left. Seaweedy beach on the right that might put some off but …this is from internet ‘
Scientific studies have confirmed that seaweed bathing helps lower body stress and relieve skin conditions(psoriasis, eczema, acne etc). It has also been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of muscle aches and joint stiffness (rheumatism and arthritis), and excellent for some circulatory problems.’So we were happy with both beaches with what they offer.
Pools - one quite and adults only , second bigger one and for all , plus small one for babies.
We have not used AI alcoholic drinks , so can not comment . Soft drinks are various fizzy drinks ,we preferred to stick with just water mainly.
Lovely entertainment programme during the day for kids and adults, we really enjoyed evening performances. Live keyboard pianist plays in the Olive restaurant in the evening , realty nice.
Good and well stocked shop near hotel entrance with reasonable prices in case you run out of sunscreen or just to get souvenirs.
Would we come back , yes.

After reading some of the earlier reviews on here I was somewhat worried about what to expect at the Mareblue but we have just returned from a fabulous week's holiday and have no complaints whatsoever!
The resort is immaculately clean with beautiful gardens and a fantastic view of the Albanian mountains.After reading some of the earlier reviews on here I was somewhat worried about what to expect at the Mareblue but we have just returned from a fabulous week's holiday and have no complaints whatsoever!
The resort is immaculately clean with beautiful gardens and a fantastic view of the Albanian mountains. There are some steps and a slight incline from one end of the resort to the other but nothing too strenuous.
The food is fresh,varied and plentiful. Lots of lovely salads, grilled vegetables, meats, fish and Greek dishes. Amazing deserts, lots of fresh fruit and some more familiar foods for children if desired. Ice cream available from the pool bar throughout the day and they also do a lunch service there if you don't want to leave the pool.
Our room was modern, beds were 2 singles and a bunk bed which were very comfortable and the cleaners were there everyday if required.
The pool areas were clean,and although peak season and very busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. There were plenty of beds, mot so many parasols but a few trees also offered shade.
Yes, most sunbeds were reserved with towels early in the morning but this happens everywhere...
Some reviews mention a problem with wasps - they are no worse than on a summers day in the UK and only around food and drink. Didn't have any issue with ants at all, don't think I even saw one!
There are mosquitos, particularly after dusk but so long as you take repellent you should be ok, we didn't get bitten.
My 7 year old daughter went to the kids club a couple of times (it opens 10-12 and 3-5) she really enjoyed it. Also loved the mini disco....the team work so hard and do a fabulous job with the children.
All the staff were amazing, the restaurant staff are so attentive and efficient and work very hard to keep the tables clean and people flowing...always with a friendly smile.
The resort is in a really quiet area but the beach to the left is lovely and there is a shop and a couple of bars/restaurants there if you fancy a change. You can also do excursions from the hotel if you want to venture further out.
There is a little shop attached to the hotel, just outside reception which sells lots of snacks,souvenirs and floaties etc.
We had a fab week, totally relaxed and recharged...thank you Mareblue!

An excellent family holiday

I had the most wonderful 10 days at Mareblue with my husband and 7 year old daughter.
The hotel, the food, the staff, the pools!
It was all so lovely, the weather was perfect - and so close to amazing beaches, just a few minutes walk.

It was all so lovely, the weather was perfect - and so close to amazing beaches, just a few minutes walk.
My husband and I both had a full body massage at the spa, and would strongly recommend it to anyone.
We all want to return again next year, and say a huge thank you to all at the Mareblue for giving us a fabulous holiday.

Lovely place, although around the hotel is a bit dirty, lots of rubbish and litter. Hotel itself is wonderful.
