The hotel was absolutely great. We stayed there for 12 days. The staff was very friendly, and polite, always willing to help with a wide smile.I was extremely surprised by the fact that they were so united. The restaurant had a huge variety of foods, which all tasted incredible. IThe hotel was absolutely great. We stayed there for 12 days. The restaurant had a huge variety of foods, which all tasted incredible. I also loved the a la carte restaurants, the greek, the asian and the mexican one, which, in my opinion, was the best! The hotel reminds me of a traditional greek village. I loved the greenery in the hotel, it always gave me a feeling of joy. Pink, yellow, blue, white, red flowers everywhere! Moreover, the sea was stunning. I was spending so much time there and i regret not spending more. I built sand castles and i went swimming to explore the bottom of the sea and the cute little fish. Overall, this is the best hotel I've ever been to and I am looking forward to visiting again! Unforgettable holiday!

Our stay in Rodos Maris was certainly unique. Greek hospitality at its finest. As long as you are polite and courteous people will remember your name, your drink and always great you with a smile regardless of how tired they are or how hot the day is. Excellent hotel.It is like a a traditional greek village. My family and I stayed there for 2 weeks in August.The facilities are very good ,the rooms were very clean .What is more , there is a big variety of food , which is very tasty .A la carte restaurants areExcellent hotel.It is like a a traditional greek village. My family and I stayed there for 2 weeks in August.The facilities are very good ,the rooms were very clean .What is more , there is a big variety of food , which is very tasty .A la carte restaurants are excellent.The sea is perfect and the beach bar was amazing.The most important was the "greek" hospitality by all the stuff.During our vacation,it was like we were being hosted by great people .We are looking forward to our next visit.

A lovely family holiday

We had a great time here as a family of 4 (9 year old and 5 year old)
Plus points: Food is very nice, especially the Greek Taverna by the beach, you can go there for brunch as well which was really good.
Drinks/cocktails are really good (wine not so much)

Rooms, although a bit dated, are a good size and comfortable
Shops on site are good and well-priced, the man in the shop is very helpful.
Crepes/coffee under the tree are very pleasant, although the service is a bit chaotic!
The beach is lovely.
On the whole the staff are very nice
Minus point: Ants!! And lots of them in my room, had to empty the kettle every time I boiled it as about 15/20 ants came out! In the end I engaged my brain and moved the kettle which solved that problem!
You have to scan QR codes for everything which drove me mad.
Sun beds are dire.
The pool is a death trap, so slippy.
It’s pretty tricky to find out what is going on and when. You get varied answers depending on who you ask. A printed list would be helpful otherwise you are left to wander about and stumble upon things. There are 2 separate entertainments each day, one by the pool for the grown ups and a kids one at the ‘amphitheater’ which we went to – some of the shows were very good. I heard that there were fireworks and a beach party but when I asked, I was given a pretty vague answer of not this week, maybe next week. Also heard of a bubble show but never found it – I assume you would have to scan every QR code you see (and there are a lot of them) to keep up with the timetable.
None of these stopped us all from having a great time though!
Tips – there is a really nice beach club a little further down the beach past the blue umbrellas. No entry fee, you just pay for your food and drinks, shallow pool in the middle for the kids (not salt water!), lovely food and great cocktails.
A couple of nice-looking restaurants opposite the beach club
If buying snorkels and masks for kids, buy the full-face ones, they are much easier to deal with and less likely to break.
Lindos and Rhodes old town are both great to visit for the day. Either take a local bus which is really easy or take the boat – there is a boat that goes to Lindos from the beach every day.
Taxi back from Rhodes old town cost us 77 Euros, this is a set price from all taxi ranks.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff

My family and I stayed towards the end of August.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome and felt that the hotel had a wonderful village-like atmosphere.
Our room was clean and had a well stocked mini-bar, although the room had ants due toMy family and I stayed towards the end of August.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome and felt that the hotel had a wonderful village-like atmosphere.
Our room was clean and had a well stocked mini-bar, although the room had ants due to the climate and type/age of building - tip for hotel; some ant spray might help at the seals of doors, windows, etc.
The food options were fine, with desserts being a favorite.
Some of the staff were wonderful; especially the lady in the coffee-ice-cream bar, and Hershey who helps serve in the buffet restaurant. Also John, who made awesome crepes for my son, the staff at the pizza shack on the beach, and the staff at the Greek restaurant! Mitsis: give these guys their dues, they are a credit to you!!!
Entrainment was ok. One or two nights were great, but some nights felt flat - this could be due to the crowd. All you can drink is great but the lines at the bars can be long - order two rounds at a time would be my tip.
Swimming pools are salt-water and they are best used at the early part of day.
Overall it's a decent place and I would stay again. The only things I'd change would be that some rooms may need an uplift, and I think some of the crew seem overworked which felt like a staffing issue.
