The friendly staff, the master's Golden Hands, the atmosphere at the massage procedures is simply incredible, and the lady Virginia is smiling and caring !!!!!! The best thing about this hotel is Callum on the entertainment team. An absolute legend who made our weekend we had such a great time thanks to Callum. I would like to thank the entire ents team for their efforts and varied program. Kept us really busy during the day and the evening tribute shows in the ballroom fantastic. During the day David will host aqua gym and darts had us in stitches. The bingo calling is hilariousI would like to thank the entire ents team for their efforts and varied program. The bingo calling is hilarious The hotel was great with good food and always found a sunbed. Management always around and the Area Manager was very hands on organising and seen walking around ensuring all guests are catered for

If I could sum up in one word, I'd say 'underwhelming' this would not benefit anyone reading this review, so instead I will explain why.......

Let's begin with star rating. This is 100% NOT a 5 star hotel. I have stayed in better 3 star and I am not being a snob.
We booked with a large party to attend a family wedding also held at the hotel.
Seeing cockroaches walking around in the main restaurant during mealtime, with the staff not looking surprised or doing anything should tell you enough to book elsewhere. The lunchtime food was probably the best in terms of selection. I know they are mass catering but it was very samey and school dinner like. Most of our party, ended up eating out at least 3 times during a week's stay, so bring extra euros as not 5 star food at all. Some of the hash browns I felt had been re-fried and were really dark & too crispy at breakfast. They had that old oil taste. The bread buns were nice and pastries for breakfast with good selection of fruit. Big queues for made to order omelette, so I didn't try that.
All inclusive drinks I.e. cocktails all taste like window cleaner. They all have same label on the 'vodka', 'rum' & 'gin'. None of the drinks taste anything like the real version of an alcoholic drink. *At the wedding reception over the pool, the drinks tasted as they should, with alcohol in. If you like prosecco, it's 40 euros a bottle which is massively overpriced. There is a Lidl 15 minutes walk along the main road, heading back towards Paphos, so suggest you stock up there, small fridge in room.
In terms of the room on 3rd floor - we paid for an upgrade to have a front sea view. I am pleased we did as definitely had one of the better rooms with great views of the sea, but paid more for this. Like others have said wallpaper was dated and peeling off some of the room.
The door / access - we had big problems with the hotel door, the alarm would go off when the door was closed, it also would not let us in one evening and the maintenance man had to replace the whole door handle to resolve the issue.
There is no main light in the room, so makes it tricky for ladies to put make up on, unless you do it out on the balcony. We had a lovely maid for room service who issued new water bottle and towels daily so cannot fault that side. I did see more than 1 x cockroach in the room, which is rather off-putting when you have a little one. The extra 'bed' for my 7 year old, resembled a prison metal bed, so not a proper bed and would not hold an adult.
In terms of the wedding ceremony and reception, I cannot fault the attentive staff and the food and drinks served on the day. It was a fabulous day which everyone enjoyed. Its just a shame we had to endure the other factors described above for the remainder.
This once was an amazing hotel but maybe 15 years ago. Looking at the decor and bleach stains along the corridor carpets with dodgy lifts, sometimes not moving once you got in. It is a tired hotel where the grand Reception area with modern furniture and chandeliers gives you the misconception that the rest of the hotel maintains this standard. Sadly it does not and leaves you overall underwhelmed.
I don't leave hotel reviews very often but feel I need to. This is NOT a family hotel....the water park is over the other side of the hotel at the front, so not near the main pool area. Whilst the evening entertainment for the kids is in a massive theatre room on the same floor as the restaurant, you walk in to an overpowering smell of damp and a tatty looking stage. Entertainment would be better outside, guests aren't really attracted to go and spend time in this room. It is huge and maybe would be suited to another restaurant as feel the space is wasted. There are no snack bars / cafe outside/near the main pool during the day, other than the main restaurant. It would be great to have some snacks/ice cream where the Greek a La Carte restaurant is by night as you can only get drinks from this and the pool bar throughout the day.
The a La Carte restaurants up on the roof terrace were probably the best meal of the week. We had Italian, big portions and lovely views. We did not have the Mexican but others who we were with did and said there was so much food. The Greek one, was less positive with average feedback from some of the other family. The swimming pool is probably the best feature of the hotel, it is huge and there are plenty of sun loungers, unfortunately many of the parasols cannot be put up as there are no metal pins.
You cannot access the sea from the hotel, the rocks make it too dangerous to access. Whilst there are fabulous views, the best beaches are at Coral Bay. You can catch a bus '615' from the main road costing 2 euros PPerson which cone every 15 mins and takes approx 20 minutes, or there are always taxis parked outside the hotel.
We preferred the smaller beach which is the second one along or if you stay on the bus until it terminates. It is less wavy and shallow for children on this beach. There is a lovely restaurant attached to a small hotel, with lovely views overlooking the sea. We enjoyed proper strength cocktails here.
Overall, I have some lovely memories of the family wedding and the outdoors reception venue was great to accommodate the wedding party. Ultimtaely, this hotel let's itself down with the food, tired rooms and all inclusive drinks. If you want guests to return, the hotel needs to upgrade to keep on par with other 5 star hotels. It is very clear that the business focus here is weddings as one every day.

Massage was excellent. Virginia was really pleasant and professional and has a really good knowledge of the reasons why my sertain body areas are inflamemd and in pain. After the massage i felt really relaxed and stress free. Highly recommended.Massage was excellent.
