Great stay at the Aminess Grand Azur

Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Azur Hotel. We had a sea view and the rooms were very comfortable. Food was good without being great as they are catering for the masses. Breakfast's were the best esp the croissants. The fish or meat tended to be a little over doneEnjoyed our stay at the Grand Azur Hotel. We had a sea view and the rooms were very comfortable. The pool and the beach were very good and the staff were attentive. A car is a must if you want to explore the area and beaches.
We booked towards the end of September and the weather was very good sunny and 25 degrees. They did have some storms in the first 2 wks of September though.
Lack of any real entertainment in the evenings where they could take advantage of some excellent outdoor areas for some live music.
Whilst on our stayed we used the masseur on site who was very experienced (ex handball player) and would thoroughly recommend a massage.
Whilst you are there you need to spend some time on the island of Korcula which is just a short ferry ride across. The main town is like a minature Dubrovnik without the crowds and would recommend a day and night with some excellent restaurants.
Another place to visit locally on the peninsula is Lorvik which has a great restaurant/cafe as well as great waters to swim.

Great location, right on beach, nice pool and plenty of sunbeds.
Rooms cleaned every day or youbcanmopt out some days if you wish.
Hotel staff polite and Toni at reception very helpful..
Facilities in room Good, tea, coffee, fridge, safe ect etc.
Not so good.
Food very hit and miss , usuallyGood stuff.

All inclusive light, don't bother with it as only in dinning room at meal times, consists of poor quality draft wine, beer and soft drinks.
Outside of this you have to buy everything and not cheap, entertainment is minimal although we are at the end of the season and may have cut back.

In a convenient location on a beach, with breakfast included as a possible add-on. Parking was arranged as we arrived by car. - The restaurant has 300 seats, while the hotel has 430 guests. When dinner time comes at 7 PM, there's often not enough space for everyone. The policy is just profit, profit.

- There is no plain water during meals, only water from the drink machine (which tastes like soda) or fruit-flavored water at breakfast, which I do not prefer.
- The air conditioning system wasn't working well enough due to the large number of guests in August. We couldn't get the room temperature below 27°C during the day.
- Four days in a row, I waited for the bartender to appear for 10 minutes in the aperitif bar.
- The Konoba Punto Mare has good food, but it’s a madhouse. They often run out of things. For example, they ran out of Fanta, apple juice, and cutlery, but we eventually got the cutlery. The waiter says that's how it is every day; they always run out of something.
- The aperitif bar is the same story; they run out of basic things like Coca Cola Zero every day. For three days, they weren't able to restock Coca Cola Zero—what a joke for a four-star rating.
- They left beer in the minibar that expired three months ago.

Unforgettable vacation

One of the best experiences we have had!
Me and my family spent 7 nights in the hotel and everything was amazing and VERY welcoming!
The receptionists Toni and Bozica were very kind and real professionals who helped us with everything we needed.
The meals where all very tasty and ENOUGH!

The meals where all very tasty and ENOUGH!
We enjoyed the time at the beach bar( the staff were so friendly and there was live music almost every night), also our kids felt great doing activities at the KIDS CLUB (Thank you for the positivity teachers Marta and Dora).
The rooms were also great and cleaned every day.
Must say that the location of the hotel is fabulous, great combination of water and nature and very near to Korcula island.
Overall 10/10
PS: My wife spent her 45th birthday at the hotel and with the help of staff we organised a great night!
Thank you all for making this summer unforgettable, we hope to see you again next year!
