Hotel Details
This charming beach hotel is located in the quiet resort of Costa Teguise, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by gorgeous gardens typical to the Canary Islands. Costa Teguise town centre is 1.5 km from the hotel, and connections to the public transport network are right at the hotel's doorstep. Lanzarote airport is just 10 km away.
We have a large outdoor pool with a jacuzzi, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Our kids pool area which includes a water slide will ensure that the kids can have as much fun as they want. Sunbathe all you want in our sun loungers by the pool whilst enjoying your favorite drink from our pool bar.
What more can you ask for? If you like to keep the family busy or simply want to challenge your friends, we also offer a mini golf course, fully equipped gym, pétanque, water polo, a pool table and table tennis. You choose!

Well worth the price..

There seems to be a lot of negativity about this hotel, but many I feel are unwarranted. For the price you pay for this hotel - we felt that the hotel matched our expectations and the price is fair.

Staff:
The staff at the hotel are very friendly. We missed the evening meal, so they had made us a pack up to take to our room when we arrived - which doesn’t always happen.
The room & balcony was cleaned daily and fresh towels left. The cleaning team work hard and clean all corridors and stair wells daily too. They do a great job!
Hotel & Rooms:
The hotel its self is clearly going through renovations. The reception, bar and restaurant have all been recently modernised. The room we stayed in was very tired and in need of modernisation - however, it was useable. The mattresses and pillows were relatively new and very comfortable and the room itself was clean. There were a few small issues such as the door frame in the bathroom was coming lose, but we felt this was a minor issue.
Food & Drink
The drinks menu is available on request and has a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Cocktails are not included and cost €6. I had a couple of these and they were well worth it!
The restaurant is catering for a range of cultures and taste buds. You can’t go to an All Inclusive buffet abroad and expect a full British banquet! There was a huge range of choice, although not everything to our taste. There was however, always a couple of options that we liked at each meal.
Pool:
The pool is cold! But once you are in the water, it’s fine. There is a large main pool, a children’s pool with slides and flumes and a baby pool too. Much more variety than most hotels. The poolside does need some attention, as some of the grates / plastic drains around the pool are lose and cracked, which could cause an injury. I’d be more concerned if I was travelling with an older child who was playing in the pool. Some floor tiles were also cracked.
There were plenty of sun beds available daily either by the pool or on a sun terrace. We also requested a parasol most days, which the lifeguard happily got for us.
Location
The hotel is slightly out of the Costa Teguise centre - but we liked this. It was only a 20 mins stroll at a gentle pace or less than €4 in a taxi into town and the nearest beaches.
In summary, we were happy with the hotel and felt it met our expectations for the price we paid. if you’re looking for 5* luxury, then you need to pay those prices! If you’re looking for somewhere simple but friendly and clean then you can’t go wrong!

On arrival I could see the hotel was very well kept, the foyer was nice and cool despite the hot weather outside. There was fresh cooked water to drink from a dispenser and the staff were welcoming. We had to wait over an hour for the room but we didOn arrival I could see the hotel was very well kept, the foyer was nice and cool despite the hot weather outside. There was fresh cooked water to drink from a dispenser and the staff were welcoming. We had to wait over an hour for the room but we did arrive early so understood. They upgraded us for the inconvenience which we greatly appreciated. When we got to our room it was very clean and tidy, and everything worked as it should. No complaints about the room, it was cleaned every day and always looked spotless after the cleaners had been. The food was brilliant, such an amazing variety and the gelato machine is to die for. Everything was very tasty and fresh! The pools were clean and the loungers were also, everything was well looked after, being stacked and chained up every evening. The entertainment team were great, putting on shows what were funny and entertaining to watch. The activities they ran were great, we didn’t enjoy any more than the others. We tried darts, ping pong, archery and boules. A special thank you to Bogi who is very professional but also very down to earth. We had a great laugh with her, especially during ping pong!
Overall, the hotel is beautiful and we would definitely stay there again. The only downside, if we had to choose one, would be how far away it is from any sort of nightlife, at least a half hour walk but we wasn’t too bothered about that as the hotel had everything we needed!

Last minute booking that turned out to be the best decision!

This really was a last minute booking and the reason we booked it was because I found cheap flights to Lanzarote but then there were only a few hotels left on the island to book and this was one of them! It wasn't cheap - £520 for 2 nightsThis really was a last minute booking and the reason we booked it was because I found cheap flights to Lanzarote but then there were only a few hotels left on the island to book and this was one of them! It wasn't cheap - £520 for 2 nights but it was from the 30th December to 1st January and thats it why it cost so much. Normally, this would be much cheaper.
When we first arrived we were not sure what to think as it was a little rough around the edges BUT they really pushed the boat out for New Year Eve and the buffet, singer and dancers and the disco were fantastic (the DJ could easily have flown in from Ibiza - he was that good!). In the end we loved it and the weather was perfect (great escape from the rubbish weather we were having in good old Blighty lol!). IF I can do the same again this year - I will! :-D

Here's a fair review of our recent 3 night stay.
Arrived a couple of hours before check-in (3pm) so our room wasn't ready) but we were able to leave our bags at reception and enjoy a light lunch and drinks by the pool.

Arrived a couple of hours before check-in (3pm) so our room wasn't ready) but we were able to leave our bags at reception and enjoy a light lunch and drinks by the pool.
Our room was big - a standard double but there is a lot of storage space, pillows a tad lumpy, but but firm and comfortable.
We did ask reception 5 times to fix our air-con. Although you could hear the fan was on, there was no cool air, so the room felt warm and stuffy, and as we were ground floor, we didn't feel comfortable sleeping with the door open.
Food was ok - there is plenty of choice (some mislabelled, Fish NOT chicken). Plenty of selection at breakfast and lunch, but dinner always felt a bit of a let down and quite repetitive. (note for the hotel PLEASE have some kind of music playing to give this restaurant some atmosphere - it feels like a school canteen).
Although cocktails are not included, there is plenty of choice of house spirits and wines available, but do ask to see the drinks meny. The bar staff seem reluctant to have it out on show, but there is one available.
The hot dogs available from the pool bar in the afternoon are nice, but we didn't try the sandwiches as the meat and cheese didn't seem chilled.
Plenty of sun loungers available - but they do stay locked up til 10am so don't rush to the pool - but this is usually perfect timing as the morning clouds are just burning off then.
Re the entertainment, bingo was interesting - not having pens or pencils and having to stab the numbers with cocktail sticks (?) - but PLEASE change the Amy Winehouse scene in the CRAZY SHOW. Having her stumble around the stage with an empty wine bottle was really bad taste when she was such a talented performer.
Did we enjoy our stay? It was fine for what we paid - and we were glad we had nice weather.
Would we go back? Probably not.

Was apprehensive after reading the reviews but had absolutely nothing to worry about and really enjoyed our holiday. Friendly service and clean hotel throughout.
Pool area lovely and relaxed, we had no issue getting sunbeds in the morning but there are plenty further away from the pool if needed. Pool area lovely and relaxed, we had no issue getting sunbeds in the morning but there are plenty further away from the pool if needed. Admittedly food choice was a bit limited, but what was there was nice. There was always chips, pasta, bread, paella and a choice of fish or meat. We really enjoyed the desserts. Cocktails not included in AI but this wasn’t an issue for us as there were plenty of choice for drinks.
Costa Teguise is roughly a half hour walk or short bus trip which was really cheap and convenient.
Entertainment team during the day were amazing. We didn’t see much of the evening entertainment but seemed like lots of fun especially the karaoke.
We personally really liked the €1 cup deposit system. It kept the pool area nice and tidy without disposable cups everywhere and you are given a clean one each time you order a drink.
Very impressed with the hotel for what we paid and overall couldn’t fault it!
