3 Nights Prague Christmas Market Break W/Flts

We’ve been at pure white as we heard a lot of the quality and the restaurant. All in all: it was shocking for the money we paid ... although the ingredients are high quality and fresh - meat cuts are great and unique for cologne. But and there are too many but’s: the service is okay but not outstanding. The restaurant itself is kind of nice but shabby chic with a lot of chaos (bottles under the bar and there’s everything all over the place). Chairs are not comfy to sit, tables super small. Potatoes have been okay but with not a lot of attention to detail to have a nice serving. The most unpleasant part is that you smell like a grill afterwards, my boyfriend even got a cough due to the smoke there and you deffo need a shower afterwards. All in all food was nice but fully overpriced as the whole experience is just not right when you pay prices like this. 2 people starter wine and meat board 250€. There are restaurants that offer much more dining experience for half the price. Sorry we won’t go again and don’t understand the hype!

Surprising ambiance, interior is like a previous butcher shop with tiles and a large see through window, no privacy. In addition, the restaurant is small and tables are positioned far too close to each other. AGain no privacy and too loud, moisy. The restaurant is too strong illuminated, you feel watched, see above. The service is OK, a waiter, co owner type takes you through the menu and goes straight to the extremely expensive meals. Be warned, alternatives are there. The starter come too fast. The menu card is a set of copies held together by a clothespin... It all is very basic, including the cheap Christmas decorations. It all fits in to the concept of ultimate food experience, there they meet expectations. Although, the steak plate we ordered, €90 for 2 is so large that, if you want to enjoy it and eat slowly, ihe food gets cold. This is not OK. Our request to warm it up was apparently a strange question.. Was it?! Wine and coffee are good finally.

This small, intimite restaurant is located in a nice district of cologne. Surrounded by a lot of good places to shop, eat and drink well. Nevertheless it's absolutely worth a visit. Yes, some visitors mention and dislike the obvious smell of the grill that definitely fills the air in the whole place and stays in your clothes and hair a long time after you've left. So, come during the summer season, get one of the tables outside and enjoy the great food and nice service. The menu isn't long because it's concentrated on their specialities - absolutely fresh and delicious seafood and high class steaks. The prices reflect the quality of the food and the ability of the chef to serve it in a style the products deserve. So they're both on a top level and therefor it's justified. We enjoyed the seafood plate with remarkable oysters Gillardeau, lobster, bay prawns. Just from the grill with a few tasty dips and roasted german bread at the side. Accompanied by well informed and attentive service employees, a glass of Sauvignon blanc and everything adds up to a perfect summer evening for two in one of the best towns in germany.
