Visited the dining room on the ground floor. Food is much better than the period of peak COVID years (2020-2022). However, I have to breath in a huge amount of cigarette smoke as the glass doors are wide open with chain smokers sitting out front. After three days at a characterless, charmless large chain hotel in Silom (see previous review), I decided to check out the The Siam Heritage and the contrast could not have been more stark. I could not love this hotel more - well perhaps if it was free! I arrived earlyAfter three days at a characterless, charmless large chain hotel in Silom (see previous review), I decided to check out the The Siam Heritage and the contrast could not have been more stark. I could not love this hotel more - well perhaps if it was free! I arrived early but was still welcomed warmly, assisted to my room by the lovely front doorman and was so happy to see all the art and woodwork and color throughout the hotel and in my room. The room and bathroom are quite large and though mine only had a window view of the building next door (so no real outside light) there were plenty of lights and lamps throughout. The bathroom shower was quite spacious - again with traditional thai wood doors between the bedroom and bathroom.
But my absolute favorite part of this hotel was the rooftop pool (which is also where the penthouse suite is located) The pool is small (actually two pools- the main pool and then a water fall/feature cascading into a smaller pool) but sparkling clean and surrounded by orchids and lush greenery of so many sorts. Whoever is planning and maintaining the garden is so good at his/her job. And so you can float in the pool under the frangipani/plumeria trees or just explore all the hideaways and plants - if you have any appreciation of tropical plants you will love it!
Breakfast was also good - not a lavish buffet but good enough - but with a warm welcome and attentiveness from staff working - who later in the day staff the Siam Cuisine restaurant on the ground floor. And fresh flowers on every table at breakfast!!
Silom isn't my favorite or need to go area in Bangkok but if you need to be in this part of town, this is a wonderful choice an I plan to return just to experience the pool again. I really can't say enough good things - the owners/management have clearly been thoughtful in planning this hotel and then in meticulously maintaining it.

Easy to reach by Grab or using BTS/Metro this hotel puts you bang in the middle of the Silom area. Easy checkin to this heritage feel property had us in well sized and comfortable rooms. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the hotel well maintained.

We stayed here earlier this month at the end of our Thailand trip for two nights and really liked this place. A nice boutique hotel with spacious, colonial-style furnished rooms. Friendly service and well located close to a lot of restaurants, shops etc. Not far from Lumphini park. Room rates are moderate and fair for what you’re getting and there is a small pool and chill area on an upper floor to enjoy. They offer breakfast and we tried it once but that was the only underwhelming aspect of this place TBH. As a visitor to this part of town you have a lot of other choices nearby, of course. Would recommend this hotel and would always come back here, thank you!

Great location in amongst some of the more traditional areas. Not flashy, but a lot of fun. Plenty of bars, eating places, and central to most things. Good location close to the beach and shops, Resturants. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of space and comfy beds.

Really loved this place. Normally I prefer higher floors but if you stay here definitely choose the first floor and here's why. The buildings are surrounded by a canal style pool that you will have direct access from your balcony with stairs leading into the water. TheyReally loved this place. The buildings are surrounded by a canal style pool that you will have direct access from your balcony with stairs leading into the water. They also have a roof top infinity pool you can use. They offer a great breakfast buffet which serves as a regular restaurant for lunch and dinner. Service was great. Every employee I encountered was very helpful and went above and beyond. Less than a five minute walk from Patong Beach. Definitely would repeat.

This is my 3rd time staying at the Charm resort now. I can safely say that i will continue to come back every time i come to Patong. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the hotel which i rate at top notch. Their standard rooms have aThis is my 3rd time staying at the Charm resort now. I can safely say that i will continue to come back every time i come to Patong. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the hotel which i rate at top notch. Their standard rooms have a king sized bed and a single bed as a day bed. I stayed in the standard room which seems to be a deluxe room, a deluxe pool access room and an executive suite. All three rooms are amazing. The staff are incredible. You’ll be amazed at how warm and friendly they are to everyone, but they go the extra mile for polite and friendly guests.
There’s the amazing roof top pool, which never gets too crowded as the beach is right across the road. I spent most of this trip going from my hot tub, to the roof top infinity pool and then to the beach multiple times a day.
The breakfast has a great selection of foods for most people and there’s tweaks to it every day, so if you want to try something different you can. The restaurant is nice, room service has a good variety and the pool bar is lovely. Is there anything better than pool side Pad Thai and a cocktail?
The hotel is perfectly located by the beach in Patong, it’s far enough up the road from Bangla road and the loudness that it’s got a chilled vibe. But it’s an easy 10 minute walk into town along the roads bustling with things to purchase etc. I also like that the beach lounges are generally ready to hire for the day just across the road from the hotel. There’s also nice beach front hotel bars from competitors next door to explore something different for afternoon drinks. But i find myself wanting to go back for sunset drinks on the roof top every time.
