Clean basic and disappointing

I feel this hotel is a little misadvertised.
The description completely soundproof? Aside from the screeching cars through the night, the crying kids and the other guests at all hours. Definitely NOT soundproof.

The air con in the room faulty and after going to reception 5 times, then rebooting it, works for 10 mins then faults again we gave up!
Shower - red hot, cold, warm cycles, grab the warm when you get and wait for the next cycle and hold the shower head as no adjustment so if you are not 6 ft tall the water won’t get you.
Shower curtain sticks to you and don’t even try to shave your bits in such a confined space!
Breakfast - poor, same every day, ran out of honey, ran out of cheese, no variation at all.
Pool - no sun goes around to that area at all so if you want a shady dip in cold water then well done to you but I certainly didn’t. The rooftop terrace, advertised as a restaurant and sun spot is a building site and to top it off the lift isn’t working and clearly hasn’t been for some time! Spa - no one around? Think the staff must have gone home?
Finally the rock hard bed - we put the blanket under the sheet to give a little relief but very uncomfortable.
Disappointing sadly. But if you like clean and basic then it’s that.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Room was brilliant with a separate sitting room and bedroom. Both had TV's and aircon. The hotel also had a hammam which was so good that it could get addictive. Final two night of group tour.
Heating worked well Hair dryer. Kettle. Spacious.(3 beds) !Secondary glazing .Lighting very dim. Big shower. Removable shower head.
Very good breakfast. Fava. Porridge. Dates. Figs. Salad. Olives. as well a ubiquitous continental style pastries and cereals. Sadly they were just putting it out asFinal two night of group tour.

Located by main road (so easy to find) in modern suburb. 35/40 minutes walk from the old town area.
Noisy nightclub/bar next door. Very poor choice of places to eat . All in that area seem to be attached to hotels and one would have to walk 30 mins or so to find a range of independent ,smaller ,eateries,
Ate lunch on terrace on arrival, Second evening ate in ground floor restaurant (terrace cold) but they had all the exit doors wide open and it was far too cold (i had 4 or so layers on) to relax and enjoy. Background music distraction. Small plates of food ,reasonable selection. Japanese dishes also.

We had a lovely stay at Amani Hotel. Our room was basic and a bit dated, but it was comfortable and clean. The pool area looked nice, although it was too cold to use during December. The pool area looked nice, although it was too cold to use during December. But a nice space to relax. The roof top bar has great views of Marrakech and the Altals mountains. We had the package that included breakfast and dinner and the food was delicious and there was a lit of it! We weren't expecting a 3 course meal every night for the price we paid. I was worried about breakfast being too simple after reading other reviews, but I thought there was a lot to choose from with freshly made omelettes and fresh orange juice too. We didn't use the spa as I found it too pricey and opted to use a hammam in the medina instead. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome and well looked after.

Absolutely amazing staff. Zainab, mustafa and Ibrahim at the reception.
They are super friendly, we initially got a room with a shower we requested one with a bath and they changed it for us straightaway.
We had breakfast and dinner included. The restaurant staff are Absolutely amazing

Service was top class. Mohammed, hawwa, jamal and hisham really looked after us. Got us fresh omelette made to order. Chatted to us on how our day was etc. It felt like we knew them for years. They even played our favourite music on. The staff are an absolute asset to this hotel. The breakfast and dinner was really tasty.
The location was really good for us,a 10 minute taxi ride to medina or a 40 min walk.
It was really quiet at night,there's a small shop close by and also a shopping mall nearby too. You get best of both worlds. Taxis are easily available outside the hotel.
We had a very comfortable stay and we would love to thank the staff for going that extra mile. We will definitely be back again
