This was to be a holiday of a lifetime and that’s just what it was.
We spent 10 nights at this idyllic resort and cannot imagine a more perfect holiday.
It all started with an amazing upper class upgrade on our Virgin Atlantic flight.

We spent 10 nights at this idyllic resort and cannot imagine a more perfect holiday.
It all started with an amazing upper class upgrade on our Virgin Atlantic flight.
Our smooth transfer from Male to Velifushi via seaplane was a slight let down by the 3 hour wait but didn’t detract from the fantastic overall experience.
We had opted for the Premium All Inclusive package (PAI) and did not regret this. Included in this package were two excursions (from selected options), 2 x Balinese massages (so relaxing), soft drinks and spirits bar in the room (replenished everyday) and some advantages in the drinks at the bars (the all inclusive drinks menu was just as good).
By mere coincidence it was Mr C’s birthday whilst at the resort which the staff made very special indeed, thank you.
The cleanliness of the resort from the room service to the ladies keeping the sandy walkways perfect, could not be faulted.
The food was varied and sooooo tasty, served with a friendly smile!
We loved the way you were dedicated a table at the restaurant indicated by your room number.
The General Manager, Sanjay and the Food & Beverages Manager in particular were always keen to stop and ask our opinions about how we were finding our holiday on a daily basis.
We are now planning our next visit next year with our grown up children as we now know their fussy appetites will be catered for.
We cannot imagine a better resort/holiday which is why we hope to have another holiday of a lifetime with our loved ones.
The snorkelling from our water bungalow was second to none.
Special mentions go out to Pradeep, our lovely friendly pool operative who we saw every two days.
Our house keeping operative, Asim who was always smiling and always keen to take pics and videos.
Our restaurant server, Shamveel, who was kind, considerate and knowledgeable.
The Fen bar waiters, Rahish and Nashid who were also attentive and knowledgeable.
This resort can be entertaining (plenty of activities every day/evening) or quiet, peaceful and relaxing if you choose (no fighting for sun loungers on the beach or by the pool). A stress free experience.
We cannot wait to return.

PS: if you go on the island trip to Thinadhoo take some mosquito repellent. You won’t need it on Velifushi though.

We Had Seaplane Transfer,Wow The Views!! Arriving To Cinnamon Velifushi, I Had A Buggy Service To Our Sunset Jacuzzi Water Bungalow,
Having Gastroparesis And Being On A Liquid Diet I Was Abit Concerned For Foods Along Side My Medi Food. We Were In Contact Through Virgin Holidays Beforehand But As You Can Imagine Still Concerned...Well I Needn't Of,
We Were Assigned A Personal Chef Who Went Above And Beyond Taking Care Of Me. A HUGE Thank You To Raadj & Lakshmi For Everything Throughout, Your Special Cinnamon Apple Crumble In A Form For Me Was Absolutely Divine I Wish I Could Of Bought Some Home.

Wonderful stay. Excellent house reef with turtle, shark and wonderful fish… we definitely recommend a stay. We will be back next year.

This hotel was the result of our long period of research after we decided to celebrate our 5 years of mariage in Maldives. And we really did not regret it !
The island was on a next level in terms of cleanliness, weather, and royal welcome.

We took the bungalow sunset water villa, wich looked so good on the picture, but was so much better in reality!! A dream house on the sea. Great dives and a paradise-like view (day and night). The room service and cleaning was flawless, thanks to Shameer.
The food was very nice (except for sushis). We never ate twice the same dish!
A huge 5 stars for our two bar chiefs Satyam and Ratna ! They would come up everyday whith new recipe ideas and where always very kind to cook for us on the spot anything we asked for.
The restaurant was one of our most memorable experience in the island, mainly because of our waiter Husam, who not only was a 5 stars service, but was so enjoyable during the full week. That guy was really caring and so funny!
Husam was really the kind of people which make your experience better that it already is.
Now talking about activities, we went for the shark swimming, and indeed it was a memorable experience. Adrenaline and mesmerizing at the same time!
Obviously the main part of our experience was the snorkeling. We would spend hours underwater observing everyday new species of fish. The reef was so nice. Small fishes, big fishes, blue, yello, orange, green, you name it...
We've seen little sharks, turtles, rays and other surprises just by swimming in front of our bungallow villa...
The calm of this island was priceless, and it was exactly what we were looking for. On the negative side, I would say the massage spa which does not include men masseurs.
Conclusion : By far the most beautiful experience of our life.
