Get what you pay for.

I just need to be honest as I’m reading reviews and can’t believe we stayed in the same hotel. Now I’m not saying it’s terrible but it’s not 4/5 star as it is sold as with various tour ops. Now I’m not saying it’s terrible but it’s not 4/5 star as it is sold as with various tour ops. We stayed at the pelagos suites previously and they are worlds apart regarding standard and in price. Our room was extremely dated and in need of an upgrade. The pelagos starred the same is far far better in every aspect. I’m guessing in its day it was a fantastic hotel but everything is dated and the sunloungers are far from comfy. I guess we looked at the star rating and thought it was a bargain but you def get what you paid for. Like I say it’s not dire but far from the rating it’s advertised as. Our room unfortunately was shaded by a tree so even with lights on we could not see properly. The furniture 80’s and food just basic. Tiles around the property are cracked - several in the restaurant. We ate out every evening. We knew taxis would be required but put extra hassle on to your holiday as really lengthy queues to get back to the hotel. Just look at it and realise you get what you pay for it’s not a bargain it’s just priced right. If you want a true 4/5 star there are far far better properties in the area. Even the locals said the hotel has deteriorated over the years and not considered too good anymore. We just prefer a modern bright hotel not dated so I guess it’s preference.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel/suites. Having never having been to Kos before, we were wondering what to expect. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is bright, clean and modern. Having never having been to Kos before, we were wondering what to expect. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is bright, clean and modern. On arrival we were met with an introduction drink, before being taken to our room. The room overlooked the pool and terrace area. It was clean, with a bright terrace area.
Taking our first look around, the pool and the surrounding sun deck areas had more than sufficient sun beds and for each morning there were always plenty available. No early morning queueing for a bed in the best areas.
We were booked in as all inclusive. Meal times were easy with a wide choice and variety menu. There were special evenings for Chinese and Greek themed food.
There was also a different themed evening entertainment. The Greek evening was well supported, and the Saturday music quiz was a great laugh.
The bed clothes were changed frequently as were bath towels and hand towels.
The staff are super friendly and they do a great job. One or two deaf staff employed at this hotel/suite. They too were super friendly. Special mention to Fotini. She is one special lady, from her work in the day time bar, to her help with evening meals and beyond.
In short- would I stay at this resort again- Definitely
Would I recommend this Suites again- Definitely.
Would I visit Kos again- Definitely.
There is a beach over the road from the suites, but we didn't use it as its a pebble one.
There is a bus service to nearby Kos Town, and taxis are easily available through reception.

Wow what a holiday, would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's got the lot, delicious food , am vegetarian and didn't miss out in the slightest, great variety and plenty of it. 100% clean, fabulous pool, 1min walk to (pebbly) beach with view to Turkey and everyone runningWow what a holiday, would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's got the lot, delicious food , am vegetarian and didn't miss out in the slightest, great variety and plenty of it. 100% clean, fabulous pool, 1min walk to (pebbly) beach with view to Turkey and everyone running the hotel were super friendly and very helpful. The reception area is beautiful. Local buses to kos town centre are chaotic, never arrive on time and your squashed in. Taxis are much better.

I don't remember how many times I've been to this hotel. I've lost count. I'm probably part of the furniture now. Although that is too condescending an expression. Here you enter as a tourist and leave as family. From small to large, they make your holiday an incredible experience. TheI don't remember how many times I've been to this hotel. I've lost count. I'm probably part of the furniture now. Although that is too condescending an expression. Here you enter as a tourist and leave as family. From small to large, they make your holiday an incredible experience. The management, special thanks to Olga and Fotini, and the rest of the staff radiate so much positivity that your holiday will remain a fantastic memory. Thanks to everyone for your efforts. An awesome two weeks.

The first night wasn’t the best as we were put into a basic room with almost nothing to offer. It was also up a very steep slope.

The next morning we were relocated into a suite near to the pool on ground floor level and from then on the holiday was amazing.
The room itself was huge, the largest I have ever holidayed in.
Huge bed, two large sofas.
Lots of hanging space and drawers and a free to use safe.
The bathroom was well appointed with bath and shower on hose above. A large sink and sink top area, and a toilet separated by a partition wall.
A kettle, good quality tea and coffee with sugar and sweeteners was provided along with a fridge.
Through patio doors there was a sizeable patio area with table and four chairs.
The food was plentiful and well cooked, and a good variety at every meal.
There was a good choice of drinks at breakfast, tea coffee, juices and water flavoured with herbs and leaves.
The evening meals were also very good and with varied menus.
There were also themed nights.
Entertainment was constant with aquarobics in a lovely pool.
This next to a children’s pool with lifeguard .
There was table tennis and other activities throughout the day.
In the evening the entertainment team kept children busy from 8.30pm and then adult entertainment from 9.30pm.
The staff were wonderful, always cheerful and attentive.
Seven of the staff had hearing impairment and communicated freely.
We saw a few guests who were hearing impaired, and whose holiday must have been so much better because of this.
The manager, a lady by the name of Olga, worked tirelessly and was an inspiration to all.
As it was end of season she was helping in all areas.
I personally saw her carrying guests bags, along with support at breakfast and evening meals.
She led by example and I would say that she inspired her staff.
She is well placed and a true credit to the hotel chain.
Would I stay there again YES.
Would I recommend it YES.
Look beyond a couple of very small items like a tired bit of silicone around the end of the bath, and you will enjoy your holiday even more.
Remember hotels are still recovering after covid.
This hotel has come a long way to catch up with maintenance and repair due to disuse.
I would recommend a car as it is a good walk into Kos town, and the bus service is not great.
You can then see and enjoy Kardamena, Zidaki, Zia, Limniosas, Plaka forest, and scores of lovely beaches and restaurants.
All in all a wonderful two weeks…
