The little things let it down

This was our second time back, came last year , and definitely been some changes some good and not so good , the bracelets are great saves carrying a card around though maybe make them a bit stronger had 4 replaced , no champagne on arrival anymore , and shameThis was our second time back, came last year , and definitely been some changes some good and not so good , the bracelets are great saves carrying a card around though maybe make them a bit stronger had 4 replaced , no champagne on arrival anymore , and shame about Don Jamie not opening at lunchtime anymore, and no afternoon cakes , and no chalk for the pool table ,and still Ants on the card table they were there last year, rooms definitely need a upgrade , food drink staff cleanness beach swimming pool all fantastic, it was just the little things that let it down , hope you do take note will be back but not for a few years

Wow, what a great hotel. I would like to start with the amazing reception we received from Sergio when we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The enthusiastic welcome was quite unexpected due to the hour and the care that was taken to meet our needs was aboveWow, what a great hotel. I would like to start with the amazing reception we received from Sergio when we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The enthusiastic welcome was quite unexpected due to the hour and the care that was taken to meet our needs was above and beyond. Greeted with champagne and topped up more than once, we were told that in our room were a couple of sandwiches. That was an understatement. Sandwiches, fruit, dessert, salad, all presented and wrapped lovely.
The hotel was incredibly clean, the cleaning staff were very friendly and although they were always on scene, they would politely greet you and always move out of your way before you were anywhere near.
The room was lovely, comfy bed, very unusual, fantastic shower and as for the side sea view, wow, wow, wow. I personally would call it the perfect view. Waking up to the view of the calm sea and sun coming up made us feel like we were in paradise as we sat on the balcony.
The beach was lovely and easily accessible through the secure glass gate. The wristbands were a fantastic idea, no need to worry about looking after a key card when you are in the sea, the wristbands worked the locks, fantastic worry free holiday.
I've got to say the best thing about this hotel was the lovely service especially Sergio, myself and Mrs Pink ( Not Sharon Stone) lol thankyou so much. Can't wait to see you again soon( September)

A very bizarre experience, for well traveled American family.

We are here now, and this has been such a bizarre experience. My son and I are from the US, but travel 9-10 times a year (Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, Dubai. Indonesia, etc). We arrive from our previous (and amazing) trip in Barcelona, looking to enjoy the beach, (we aren’t) andWe are here now, and this has been such a bizarre experience. We arrive from our previous (and amazing) trip in Barcelona, looking to enjoy the beach, (we aren’t) and do a few excursions. We are told
The room would be ready at 2pm, and really given no further instructions,
Just a bracelet to show we are guest.
We leave all our belongings in a room,
Head to the pool Not a single chair at the pool or beach. All lounge chairs at the beach must be rented (purchased in advance 4 day minimum). When asked if I could rent chairs for the day, I was told there were none near the hotel. Ok then.
I go to get 2 towels to lay on beach and I’m told to go inside and pay 10 Euros each (in cash) as I’m pointed to an ATM. After getting towels I head to the bar,
Order a pina colada (don’t ask for a non- fruity drink, I asked for a dirty martini: vodka, vermouth, olive juice and was told they couldn’t make it, then given a list of beach type drinks). When I go to pay for my drink, it turns chaotic. We did not get the all inclusive package (we got the trip on Expedia, it wasn’t offered). They can not charge anything to the room, you must have a credit card on you at all times. I found out purely through trial and error Every time I used my credit card, it was an irritation for the staff.
No concierge to help with excursion, some staff were nice, other’s weren’t.
We are definitely use to a little bit different, and well this feels very motel like, not resort like.
Small rooms. Thin walls. This is not for us.

We spent a week in Hotel Condesa with my husband and another couple. On our first day we arrived at 11pm, so the receptionist said that we can have lunch on our last day as we did not consume anything on our first day. We paid for the all inclusiveWe spent a week in Hotel Condesa with my husband and another couple. On our first day we arrived at 11pm, so the receptionist said that we can have lunch on our last day as we did not consume anything on our first day. We paid for the all inclusive package. On our last day I went to the front desk at 7am to ask a late check out as our flight was at 8pm and left the hotel at 4pm. We wanted to keep at least one of the rooms till 4. The receptionist said that noone is arriving to one of the rooms, so it seems like we can keep it, but he has to talk to the manager and told me to go back at 9am. He also told me that if we can not keep any of the rooms they still can offer a shower room where we can each spend 15 minutes. I went back at 9 and they said that they can not provide the late check out and we have to leave at 11am. I then ask about the shower room, but by that time there was no space, it was all booked. So we ended up leaving without taking a shower and had to change in the toilet in the lobby. For 400 something rooms they only have 1 shower room. At 11am they also cut our bracelets, so no free drinks after check out. They could have been a little bit more flexible after that we did not consume anything on our first day. We got our lunch though as promised. Staff was nice. But every morning from 7:30 cleaning staff was talking and yelling to each other very loud while doing their work. Food is nothing special. Rooms are not like on the photos. Renovation would be needed on the bathrooms very much. For the beach towels you have to pay 10€ deposit. Safe box is also 3,75€/day. There is nothing really close by to the hotel. If you would like to go to restaurants or bars you either have to grab a taxi or walk a lot.

Summer vacation at Mallorca

We enjoyed a week at the Condesa. The facilities were excellent and the location on the beach was very nice.
The employees at the Condesa were all very helpful in making our stay as good as possible.
