Fine but could be better…

Don’t expect luxury here but it’s not a bad hotel. Rooms are quite basic, shabby almost but very clean and well maintained. Nice balcony overlooking the pool but with rather uncomfortable chairs.

Restaurant…well be prepared to go back to school days with the general ambiance there. It’s large and can be very noisy. As dinner is relatively late (7.30) there is initially a rush to get to the food/wine stations but most people happy to queue. The salad bar is lovely - always lots of fresh food with masses of choice. We didn’t experience anything negative as with previous reviews. Hot meals could be hotter and were rather bland. Pastas were basic and they serve LOTS of pork. Desserts were always delicious. Staff very pleasant and attentive in the dining room. The bar is pretty empty in the evenings (where do all these people go??) with little atmosphere. A rather off-key singer performs every so often but the room doesn’t lend itself to entertainment. Apart from the pool, seems very little on offer for children. Proximity to Cannigioni is good - a short, pleasant walk to the shops, bars and harbour and very small beach. Infrequent buses available for journeys along the coast. All in all we really enjoyed the holiday - this part of Sardinia is beautiful.

Very Enjoyable Experience

We stayed there as a family of three from 17/8/24 to 24/8/24, room 358. We had a great experience there and nothing but praise and admiration for the efficient, hard working staff who move at pace to provide an excellent service for all guests.

The hotel and our room were cleaned daily. WiFi was good throughout. Breakfast and dinner were completely to our satisfaction with lots of choice each time. The a/c worked throughout our stay, perhaps not as cold as we’d prefer, being from the U.K. When we had a couple niggles with our room, smiling and friendly maintenance man was there swiftly to sort everything.
The hotel is excellently situated with easy access to town and bus stops. The pool is clean with sun beds available daily and no “sun bed wars”!
Shout out to Maria Teresa, Martina and the rest of reception staff who were welcoming, friendly and helpful with tips about sightseeing.
Shout out to Giampiero, Salvatore and all the chefs and dinner serving staff for providing an excellent buffet every night, which we looked forward to. Shoutout to Claudio in the dining room, friendly and chatty, efficiently cleared our plates.
We will definitely return to this hotel.
