7 Nights Luxury All-Inc Lindos Memories Resort & Spa W/Flts

Despite the hotel not being part of the Mitsis chain our week at the hotel was good. The hotel itself is very dated but that is not down to the current management....its been tired for a long time and needs to be updated by current management or Mitsis if they return. There were a few issues at the start of our holiday but these were all dealt with quickly. We managed to mess up the safe and management were there within minutes and back later to fix. Yes, the food is buffet but there was always plenty of choice...and salads and fruit were fresh. They do need to label food though which was a problem...particularly for anyone with food allergies. There was a lack of staff for the first couple of days but new staff arrived every day and drinks service around the pool and in the bar resumed and was great. I do have to make a special mention of William and Jason in the restaurant and Maria and her assistant (sorry I've forgotten her name)who were outstanding in the bar. The position of the hotel, it's pool and beach are absolutely amazing and so easy to get a sunbed at any time of day. I know people are really disappointed that Mitsis are not running the hotel but I really hope that the current management gradually bring things up to the standard everyone expects. We woukd return in a heartbeat!

The hotel is very outdated and looks old. The management is rude and everything that we asked for, the answer was no. You get the towels from the spa, that opens at 10:30 and closes way before 5pm , so good luck changing your beach towels. The food is mediocre. The bathroom has a shower courtain( which is the first time I’m seeing at a 5* hotel). At the restaurant they don’t even have a espresso machine, you always need to ask the waiter and sometimes it takes sooo long to bring the drinks. Also, the sea side view is very poor, you barley see the sea. So if you want to leave angry, come here!

DO NOT BOOK LINDOS MEMORIES HOTEL!! Myself and boyfriend have just had a week here from 14th-21st June. As the previous review stated, this hotel was part of the mitsis chain and had a wonderful reputation- unfortunately they have moved away from this chain and they are no longer a part of them. It appears the standard has plummeted significantly since this has happened. There were many unhappy guests here whilst we were here and we heard complaints being made daily. Here is a shortened version of our complaints of the hotel: - booked an adults only resort, but since the change in hands, now allows children - rooms are very dated, phone in the room did not work, safe did not work, awful grimey hair dryer, small bath-shower with a shower curtain (in a 5 star hotel???????) -when the room was cleaned and bedding changed, it was replaced with dirty bed linen and marked towels (which were not there before so it wasn’t like the cleaners had just re-made the bed for us, they actually used dirty, marked linen!!!) - the food is abysmal! It is not labelled for a start off, so you are left guessing what you are eating (very dangerous may I add if you have food allergies) when i brought this up with a ‘manager’ she told me that they have had ‘several’ complaints of the food and they are trying to ‘work on’ making it better, but you could tell she did not understand the severity of not displaying allergens -the standard of food was appalling, just about edible but not worthy of a 5 star!!! - the beach bar WAS good! They served wonderful made to order gyros, burgers, sandwiches, however mid way through the holiday, they changed this to a buffet style snack bar, which ultimately meant the fries were cold, the bread was chewy/hard and the chicken was cold. They turned a fantastic snack bar into something awful! The lovely workers behind the bar understood it was not good but stated the management were forcing them to change to this way of working????? - there is one bar at night. Often with only one person working at it!! It took an average of 40 minutes to get one drink on most nights. The tables were always reserved so there was no where to sit, how in an all inclusive resort can you ‘reserve’ a table? Consequently, we went out nearly every night which detracts away from The point of booking an all inclusive !! -the drinks were the best part of the hotel. Decent quality drinks, not like the usual all inclusive rubbish you get. - the private beach is stunning!!! But not private! Anyone can walk onto it!! It is also not ‘manned’ so the bins are often overflowing and rubbish littering the beautiful sea - a ‘fully’ equipped gym is a statement on the hotels website- if you could fit two people in this ‘gym’ that was crowded!!! It was awful!!! - the hotel is horrendously understaffed- the staff that are there are really trying but you can see how fed up and defeated they all are! TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT BOOK HERE! We have raised concerns with last minute and tried to speak to the hotel manager every day we were there- surprise, surprise the manager was never there and the staff did not know when they would be there! We were provided with an email address and again surprise surprise no acknowledgment and no reply. The hotel is truly awful, probably not even worthy of a 3 star. Save yourself the hassle and book else where!!!!

This hotel no longer exists. In its place is a pop up shop not worthy of even a 3 star rating. In May 2024, we booked to stay at the Mistis Lindos Memories from 12-18 June 2024 through Thomas Cook. We understood that the hotel was part of a luxury hotel chain, and in particular, was adults only and served a la carte food and drinks made with premium spirits. On arriving we learnt that the hotel was no longer operated by Mitis but was under entirely new management. This new hotel appears to be dishonestly riding on the coat tails of the former Mitsis Lindos Memories but offers an appalling service which is entirely inconsistent with the reputation of the Mitsis Lindos Memories and the reviews posted below. The food was largely inedible (all three meals were served at the same buffet with a limited, chaotic and frozen then fried option at the pool bar for lunch) and there was not enough of it, the drinks were very poor and the service virtually non existent (we had to take our own mugs to breakfast as there was never enough crockery etc). The hotel is no longer adults only. The room was basic (but fine) but the air con did not work and the wifi at the hotel stoped working 3 days into our stay. Further and with some exceptions (particularly the bar staff who did their absolute best in the circumstances) we found the staff rude and dismissive - with no one willing to take any accountability or even attempt to improve the appalling service and standard at the hotel. Fortunately, the scenery remains beautiful. Do not stay here unless and until you have absolute confirmation that it is back in the hands of Mitsis.
